Introducing Horses and Riders to Eventing
Flatlands Equestrian Center is a combined training facility, located in southeastern Massachusetts, 45 minutes south of Boston and 15 minutes east of Providence. Our specialty is introducing horses and riders to eventing. From the introductory level to preparing for your first CCI*, Flatlands offers event training for both the horse and the rider. Ship your horse in for weekly lessons or join us for an intensive training week. We offer boarding as a service to our students. Coaching is offered at many Area I events and schooling shows. USEA ICP Level II certified instructor Tom Davis is also available for clinics.

RO-JACK'S Supermarket, Seekonk, MA
Join us in the community room at RO-JACK'S Supermarket on Newman Ave. in Seekonk, MA for a presentation on the rules for the cross country and show-jumping phases of an event.
We will also cover how to correctly complete the USEA entry forms. Students will need Tom's signature on their entry forms if they are interested in receiving his coaching at events. This signature makes him liable for any rule violations by his students. For this reason, we are requiring that you attend both this jumping rule lecture and the dressage lecture on April 5 if you are interested in his signature as a coach this season.
These two lectures are also considered mandatory if you are interested in competing a school horse at USEA competitions.
Cost is $10 per person. If you attended last year's presentation, cost is $5. Parents accompanied by their children may attend for free and are encouraged to do so.

Have you renewed your membership? The adult rider program will be hosting an adult team competition again this year - and as the past reserve champion team at Novice, we need to start planning now! I don't think we will have enough adult riders at the Prelim or Training level but we hope to have teams at the Novice, Beginner Novice and Elementary levels! The Novice Team Championships will be held at Groton House I in June. The Beginner Novice and Elementary Team Championships will also be held at Groton House during their Fall Classic in late September. For info about joining the Adult Rider Program, go to http://area1usea.org/RidersTeams/AdultRiders/adultriders.htm
We are offering a varity of clothing with the Flatlands logos embroidered or silk screened. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board - or you can email me if you wish to order any items. There is a 25 piece minimum on the silk-screened items so we need to have that number to place an order. You can have your name embroidered on the sleeve for an additional $4. We can do kid's sizes by request. Email me to request pricing. We will offer polos as well later in spring. Click here to see a list of available items.
