Flatlands Horses

McMagic - "Mac" is a 16.2 1991 TB gelding w lots of USEA Training Level mileage in Area I. Owned by student Robyn Hanover, Mac is currently being leased to Flatland’s instructor Tiffany Blackman.

Class Action - "Alec" is a 15.3 2000 TB gelding out of an Intermediate event mare sired by Reputed Testamony. Ridden the past few seasons by Lindsey Epstein, Alec qualified for the 2008 and 2009 Novice Championships with an excellent competition record. Alec is available for lease or sale.

Bobby McGee - “Bobby” is a 16.0 h 1995 TB gelding, was purchased off the track by Tom as a resale project. We know Tom's reputation for "selling" horses and expect Bobby to remain at Flatlands for the rest of his life. Bobby has extensive mileage at Training Level and will compete Prelim in 2009.

Charlie III - Charlie, a 15.3h, Appy/TB gelding born in 1992, was previously owned by a student looking for a horse ready to compete at the upper levels. We had Nancy Guyotte's preliminary horse, Tigger, in the school at the time. A trade was made. Since then Charlie has taken many students out competing to both unrecognized and USEA events for the past 12ish years.

Starzipan - "Star", a 13.3 mare born in 1988, began her career as a pulling pony. She was well established as an eventing pony when she was purchased by Flatlands for Kate Davis. Star has competed in most of the SNER regional pony club rallies as well as taking a number of younger students to their first recognized USEA event. Star is currently available for lease.

Snowy - Snowy is an 11.0h cremello pony thought to be in her 20s. Because of her wonderful ground manners, Snowy is the perfect pony for younger students to learn about grooming and saddling ponies.

Banda Calypso - "Calypso" is the newest member of the Flatland’s school horse crew. Purchased in 2008, he is a 16.0h bay gelding born in 1999. He seems to absolutely love jumping and will be out competing this season with some of our more educated students.
